Admission Process

  • Though the admission to diploma in Food and Beverage Service is merit based but entrance test may also be conducted which varies from institute to institute.
  • The date of birth which is recorded in the secondary education board / pre-university certificate is the only authentic proof that will be accepted by the institutes accepting admission. At the time of interview, it is necessary to produce this certificate in original as proof of age failing which the candidate will not be considered for admission.
  • A personal interview is conducted to determine a candidate's interactive ability and intellectual of general awareness. The marks obtained by candidates are summed with the marks obtained in the qualifying examination to finalise the selection list. Candidates who are finally selected for admission will be intimated on the same day.
  • Admission will be on a first come first serve basis.
  • Candidates who are applying for admission will have to submit a physical fitness certificate validated from a registered medical practitioner. This is as per the prescribed format given in the information brochure.
